American Eagle Credit Union to host a Lunch & Learn in East Hartford on Elder Fraud Prevention

Learn how to identify and prevent fraud, and what to do if a loved one falls victim to a financial scam.

Financial fraud, especially for elders, can be devastating. And sadly, it’s far too common.

That is why American Eagle Financial Credit Union is hosting a free Lunch and Learn on Monday, October 16 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the  American Eagle Financial Center located at 333 East River Drive, East Hartford, CT.

Learn how to identify and prevent fraud BEFORE it happens and learn the key steps to take if you or a loved one does fall victim to a scammer.

The interactive lunch and learn is hosted by Kathleen Titsworth from the Connecticut Department of Banking and Dorian Long from the Connecticut Department of Social Services.

This program is free and open to the public, but attendees need to register. Lunch will be served following the program, with questions and answers to follow.
