Allied Payment Network Announces New Hire and Three Credit Unions Announce Promotions

Allied Payment Network announces the hiring of a new VP, LBS Financial Credit Union announced two leadership promotions, and BrightStar Credit Union announced the appointment of its VP of Marketing to the Board of Directors at ArtServe.

New Hires

  • Allied Payment Network, Inc. (Allied), the industry leader in real-time, open-network payments solutions to banks and credit unions, announced today the addition of Arlington Wade as the new Vice President of Sales for its West Region. Wade brings a wealth of experience in the digital payment sector, along with an accomplished record of business development.

Promotions

  • Reliant Credit Union is pleased to announce the promotion of Hannah Freida to E-branch Manager. In her new role, Ms. Freida oversees and manages the E-branch staff, while ensuring a positive and seamless member experience in the delivery of Reliant’s convenience services, such as chat, email, text, online accounts, and loans.

  • Greylock Federal Credit Union is proud to announce the promotion of Chris Barry to Assistant Vice President, Business Banking Officer. In his role, Barry will service existing and new business members, work on business development, originate commercial loans, and help to create and manage new products, services and classes to serve the community.

  • LBS Financial Credit Union recently announced two promotions with a realignment of their senior leadership team. Jeff Niedenthal, formerly the Credit Union’s senior vice president, member services was promoted to senior vice president/chief experience officer (CXO). The role of senior vice president/chief experience officer is a new role at the Credit Union.  In this capacity Jeff Niedenthal is now responsible for elevating LBS Financial’s service focus across Member-facing areas in addition to electronic delivery channels and payment systems.

  • Christine Bass, formerly vice president, branch operations was promoted to Jeff’s former role as senior vice president, member services. As vice president of branch operations for LBS Financial since 2016, Christine oversaw branch operations and Investment Services. Now a member of the senior leadership team and continuing to report directly to Jeff Niedenthal, Christine Bass is responsible for branch operations, Call Center, Investment Services, and Compliance in her new role.

Appointments

  • Dustin Jacobs, VP of Marketing at BrightStar Credit Union, has been appointed to the Board of Directors at ArtServe, Fort Lauderdale's award-winning arts incubator. As part of the Board, Jacobs will help provide guidance for ArtServe as it embarks on a five-year strategic plan with The Devos Institute of Arts Management at the University of Maryland. Their work will set the trajectory for the future of ArtServe as it continues to mentor new artists, embrace artistic technologies, and boost the Broward County arts and cultural community’s economic impact.

  • Nutmeg State Financial Credit Union has appointed Steven Hernández, Esq., to serve as a director on its Board of Directors and as its 2Gen Committee Chairman. Previously serving as an advisory board member, Hernández will in his new role help guide the credit union in achieving its mission, with a focus on implementing the 2Gen strategy developed by the Aspen Institute, an education and policy studies organization, to help families meet the needs of vulnerable children and build wealth that transcends generations.
