Financial Plus Credit Union Partners with Peckham’s GO Program to Empower Communities Through Financial Literacy

Financial Plus Credit Union is proud to announce its partnership with Peckham’s Growth Opportunities (GO) Program, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment. Through the GO Program, Financial Plus will provide financial education, personalized financial coaching, and access to financial products and services.

“Through this partnership, we have the opportunity to guide rehabilitative youth and young adults in building a brighter money future,” said Ciara Kolasinski, Financial Wellness Coach at Financial Plus Credit Union. “We’re committed to providing participants with the resources and guidance needed to reach their goals.”

The GO Program is designed to help participants discover their career interests, align with education and training opportunities, and develop leadership skills through mentorship, preparing them for living-wage jobs. Through the partnership, each GO Program classroom cohort will receive the following support from Financial Plus:

  • Two free one-on-one financial coaching sessions.

  • Ability to open new accounts during GO Program with no credit check.

  • Additional classroom education workshops, facilitated by Financial Plus’s Certified Financial

  • Coaches and Financial Wellness Ambassadors.

  • Access to Zogo, a gamified financial literacy app.
