Hawaii Central Federal Credit Union is Giving Away a $350 Grocery Delivery to Celebrate the Launch of ADVANTAGE + with Video Banking for Young Adults

Financial education for our youth is a top priority of Hawaii Central Federal Credit Union (FCU) and that starts with setting them up to conquer life. Whether a young adult is thinking about attending school or joining the workforce, ADVANTAGE+ with Video Banking is designed to provide our youth with the basic tools to work towards independence by encouraging good savings habits and building credit through a relationship with an insured financial institution. To celebrate the launch of the program, Hawaii Central FCU is promoting Video Banking through a selfie campaign. Specifics on qualifying for the contest are on the Hawaii Central FCU website at: www.hawaiicentral.org/HCFCUADVANTAGE.

In addition to free financial education, ADVANTAGE+ encourages youth to open savings and checking accounts with a VISA Debit Card and apply for a share-secured VISA Credit Card. If there is an interest in attending school, undergraduate student loans through Student Choice are also available to fill any funding gaps after completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If a child is going away to school, it is recommended that parents create a joint account with students, so funds can be transferred easily in emergency situations. Aside from video banking, youth will enjoy mobile app services with mobile check deposit, direct deposit, access to 5000+ shared-branching locations and 30,000+ surcharge-free Co-op ATMs, nationwide.
