NCUA to Host Sept. 28 Webinar on Using Technology to Promote Financial Inclusion

Credit unions can learn how to use the power of technology to expand access to financial services at a Sept. 28 webinar hosted by the National Credit Union Administration.

Online registration for this event is now open. The webinar, “Fintech and ACCESS: Future Possibilities for Enhancing Financial Inclusion Through the Use of Technology,” is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. Eastern and run approximately 60 minutes.

Charles Vice, the NCUA’s Director of Financial Technology and Access, will discuss opportunities and challenges in adopting technology to promote greater inclusion. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation.

The webinar will be close captioned, and there is no charge. Participants will be able to log in and view the event on their computers or mobile devices using the registration link. They should allow pop-ups from this website.

Participants can submit questions during the presentation or in advance by emailing WebinarQuestions@ncua.gov. The email’s subject line should read, “Fintech and Access.” Please email technical questions about accessing the webinar to either uccwebinar@ncua.gov or uccsupport@ncua.gov.
