Westerra is Proud Partner of the Colorado Rockies

Join us at a game May 7-12 to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week

As a way to say “thank you” for all that teachers do every day, Westerra Credit Union is partnering with the Colorado Rockies for their 2024 baseball season and offering special recognition during Teacher Appreciation Week May 7-12.

One deserving, local teacher (selected by Westerra based on hundreds of nominations) will be throwing out the first pitch at the Friday, May 10th Colorado Rockies vs. Texas Rangers baseball game. We encourage Westerra members and Rockies fans to attend and cheer them on and stop by the Westerra table in Section 112 during any game that week to receive a free Westerra-branded koozie and other great offers.

“This year, Westerra celebrates its 90th anniversary of being founded by eight teachers,” said Nicole Andrushko, Westerra’s Vice-President of Marketing. “Education remains an integral part of our legacy and one way we give back to the community. We can’t think of a better way to kick-off summer than supporting local teachers and our hometown team!”

As a bonus, the first 100 teachers to open Westerra’s newly launched Smart Money Checking Account between May 7 and September 31, 2024 will get a $100 bonus after 90 days if they reach all of the account requirements. Also, during the month of May, anybody who opens a Smart Money Checking account will be automatically entered to win a 4-pack of VIP tickets to a Colorado Rockies game*.

Promotions will continue throughout the season, including a featured video; social media shout-outs; special email and website messages; a Westerra-branded Rockies jersey displayed at select branches; celebratory ATM screens and on-hold messages; and more.
